Not everyone is going to be a musician. Not everyone wants to be a musician. But the lessons and discipline and experience that music comes with…is beneficial to any developing mind.

The Ellis Marsalis Center for Music is home to a world-class music education program where youth ages 8 to 18 can learn to sing, dance, and play an instrument of their choice. We also offer a Healthy Habits program that includes counseling, nutritious meals, and more to support the whole child—regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Our Center is located in the Musicians’ Village where music is a way of life. Our facility also boasts a state-of-the-art recording studio and a sought-after listening room, where we welcome some of the greatest local and touring artists of our time.
