At the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music, the core of our programming is the mission to offer local musicians–legends, newcomers, and everyone in between–a unique platform to showcase their artistry to a diverse, cross-generational audience.

The Center’s concert series aims to ensure fair compensation for local musicians while introducing their talents to new audiences, engaging diverse communities including students, Musicians’ Village residents, neighbors, supporters, and music enthusiasts.
